Designed by Birdblack Design, this stunning studio apartment renovation transformed a compact space into a bright, open retreat with breathtaking views over Wollongong Beach.
The green kitchen became a standout feature, adding character while maximizing functionality. A timber breakfast bar was thoughtfully positioned to capture the sunrise, making the most of the incredible ocean outlook. Despite the limited footprint, the clever layout made even the small bathroom feel spacious and seamless.
One of the biggest challenges was working seven floors up with restricted access, requiring careful planning and logistics throughout the build. Overcoming these constraints, we delivered a beautifully finished apartment that feels light, open, and perfectly connected to its coastal surroundings.
This project is a testament to smart design and quality craftsmanship—proof that even the smallest spaces can make a big impact.
